History

Background and Vision

S. Bhupinder Singh, a former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), was deeply committed to the cause of quality education, especially for children living in border areas. Though his original aspiration was to establish a school after completing his post-graduation in Physics, destiny led him to join the Jammu & Kashmir Police Services. It was during his tenure as Commandant of the Police Training College in Vijaypur (Samba) that his long-standing dream of founding a school grew stronger, fueled by his belief in education as a powerful tool for social transformation.

Founding of the School After his retirement, Sardar Bhupinder Singh fulfilled his lifelong dream by establishing The Pathseekers International School on April 4, 2017, in Ramgarh. Located in a border region, the school serves a unique community comprising servicemen, ex-servicemen, and refugees who migrated from Pakistan following the Partition of India in 1947, as well as during the wars of 1965 and 1971. The Pathseekers International School is a modern, English-medium, co-educational institution committed to providing quality education and nurturing responsible citizens. Building on this vision, a new branch was established in Vijaypur in 2024. This campus aims to serve the children of professionals from AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) and to ensure equal educational opportunities for students across the Samba district.

Recognition & Affiliations

The Pathseekers International School is Recognised with Order No.: RECO001292 Dated: 29-Jan-2024 and is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is also part of the Karam International Trust for Education and The Pathseekers International School Group, which now has branches in Jammu and Kashmir.
